Rise Cayman Hope Media Group
A multi-day Christian music gathering built for broadcast, worship, digital storytelling, artist access, discipleship, and a listener experience your studio can never produce on its own.
Why we’re writing to Hope Media Group
Hope Media Group started with one Houston station and has spent four decades turning that signal into a family of brands across radio, events, online content, and mobile apps.2 A listener wakes up to KSBJ, opens the God Listens app at a red light, and leaves WayFM running while dinner gets made. That kind of daily trust is the hardest thing in media to build, and you built it.
What a broadcast schedule can’t do is put those people in the same place at the same time.
Rise Cayman is several days on Grand Cayman anchored on the Emancipation Day holiday in May 2027. Same audience, no clock, and no drive-time window closing at nine. More than thirty hours of unstructured proximity with artists, hosts, ministry partners, and listeners in one place, which is the single input no programming department can manufacture.
And every minute of it keeps working long after the last set ends.
One gathering, five returns
Love Jesus, serve others, spread Hope stops being a line on the website and becomes several days people live inside.
One concentrated production window that feeds radio, streaming, video, podcast, and social for the twelve months that follow.
Listeners move from hearing Hope every morning to standing inside something they’ll still be describing to friends in 2029.
Multi-day access to artists and their families, in a setting where the conversation isn’t scheduled around a release week.
Donors, ministry partners, underwriters, and station leadership in the same room, off the clock, for days rather than an evening.
Mission alignment
Hope Media Group describes itself as a multi-brand Houston ministry where every story, every event, and every song exists to engage people to love Jesus, serve others, and spread Hope
.1 That reads like a statement of intent. On the island it becomes a schedule, and here is what each part of it actually looks like on the ground.
Shoreline worship before the heat comes up. Prayer with artists before they walk on stage rather than after the set. Scripture read in English and Spanish on the same platform. Worship programmed as the point of an evening instead of the warm-up to one.
A service day designed with Caymanian churches and community organizations, built with local leaders instead of dropped on them. Listeners, artists, and HMG staff working alongside the people who live here year round, on projects that were already on somebody’s list before we arrived.
Testimony captured properly across several days, on real cameras and real microphones, with release forms handled in advance. Stories that carry across every platform you own for a year, told by people who were standing next to each other when it happened.
The date does the work
Across most of the British Caribbean, emancipation came on a schedule. Freedom on paper in 1834, then years of forced apprenticeship before it meant much of anything in practice.
Cayman is remembered differently. Freedom landed here without the waiting period and without a work requirement attached to it. Nothing to earn, nothing to repay, and none of it held back until people proved they deserved it.
Your morning show explains that same idea five days a week in different words. Grace given completely, with no ledger running quietly in the background.
So the gathering sits on the Emancipation Day holiday in May 2027. Your audience won’t sit through a teaching about it. They’ll spend a national holiday inside a place that has been celebrating exactly that for generations, and your microphones will be there while it happens.
The whole Hope ecosystem
Hope Media Group’s platforms include KSBJ in Houston, the national WayFM network, the Spanish-language network Vida Unida, the Worship 24/7 networks, Hope Nation, NGEN Radio, WAYLOUD, the God Listens prayer app, and Hope Events.23 Pushing all of that through one activation would flatten the thing that makes each brand work. So this is modular. Take the lanes that fit and leave the rest.
Houston listeners and personality-led storytelling. The home audience gets first access, hosted by voices they already trust.
National listener activation across the network, with contemporary Christian music at the center of the programming.
Spanish-language coverage planned from the beginning, with bilingual interviews and culturally grounded storytelling.
Worship sessions, live recordings, and discipleship built into the daily rhythm of the gathering.
Younger audiences, Christian hip-hop and pop, creator-led capture, and the short vertical material that actually travels.
Christian rock and alternative programming, with a stage lane and artist coverage that suits the format.
Interviews, podcasts, devotionals, and story-led content produced on site rather than reassembled afterward.
Prayer gathered before, prayed over during, and followed up after. An app moment tied to a physical room.
Live-event counsel, artist and promoter relationships, guest-experience design, and programming strategy.
Modular by design. One brand, three brands, or the full family, decided by your team rather than by ours.
A year-round content engine
You’ve just built the team for this. Two new director-level roles in creative audio, created to grow the digital footprint and strengthen audio storytelling across the terrestrial and digital brands.5 The Ministry and Media Center in New Caney gave that team a fifty thousand square foot home with a street-level feature studio in it.7 A concentrated production window on an island is the kind of raw material a room like that was built to process.
T minus 10 months Building the anticipation
May 2027 Several days, everything running at once
June 2027 onward The library you keep
Rights, releases, licensing, and distribution get negotiated with artists, labels, and production partners before anything is promised on air. I’d rather have that conversation in the fall of 2026 than discover it in April 2027.
The listener relationship
Hope Media Group already knows how to turn a listener into a participant. The Christians Engaged partnership around America Reads the Bible ran across KSBJ, WayFM, Vida Unida, and Worship 24/7 and drew more than three million video streams for a week of public Scripture reading.6 That is a multi-brand activation muscle most media companies simply do not have.
None of this is a travel package we’re asking you to sell. These are co-design options, and the ones worth building are the ones that survive the first working session with your people.
Artist access
Release-week interviews are transactional by design. Twelve minutes on a satellite feed, three questions the artist has answered forty times that month, and a publicist watching the clock. Everybody involved knows what it is.
A multi-day gathering changes the terms. Artists are on the island for days rather than hours, often with their families, with unscheduled afternoons and no flight to catch at four. That produces a different kind of conversation, and a different kind of tape.
It also puts your programmers in the same place as artist management, labels, and the emerging Caymanian and Caribbean musicians nobody in Nashville has heard yet. Those relationships tend to start over a meal rather than in an inbox.
Artist booking runs through Matt Best at Echo Concerts in Nashville, with on-island production led by Williams Productions on Grand Cayman. Confirmed names go into the conversation once agreements are signed, which is why there are none on this page.
Worship, prayer, and discipleship
When Worship 24/7 joined Hope Media Group, David Harms came with it as Pastor of Discipleship, a role created to build spiritual growth across the platforms through biblical content and prayer.3 The network he founded reached fifteen FM signals and online listeners in more than 215 countries and territories before the transaction closed.4 A discipleship remit that size needs somewhere physical to land, and this is a proposal for exactly that.
Sunrise and shoreline sessions before the stages open. Artist-led worship recorded properly, subject to rights. A worship track that runs through the week rather than appearing once on a Sunday.
Requests gathered across every HMG platform in the months before, carried to the island, and prayed over in a room with names attached. A global digital prayer moment during the gathering. Follow-up with the people who submitted them.
Small-group content built for the format your team already teaches, artist-led devotionals, and a defined pathway that continues after everyone flies home. Pastoral care and response protocols agreed before we open a single prayer line.
All of it collaborative. Your discipleship leadership shapes what this is, and we build the environment around it.
Vida Unida and the wider Caribbean
Vida Unida is a national Spanish-language Christian network inside HMG, not a translation service bolted onto the English brands.2 It was treated as a full partner in the America Reads the Bible activation, and it should be treated the same way here.6
What that means practically is a Spanish-language production plan written at the same time as the English one. Separate host, separate interviews, separate social calendar, with material shaped for that audience instead of subtitled at them.
I’m not going to hand you a market-size claim about Latin America that neither of us could defend in a board meeting. What I can tell you is structural. The gathering sits in the Caribbean, the programming will include Caymanian and Caribbean artists, and coverage built in Spanish from the first planning meeting produces different material than a recap translated in June.
Hope Events
Hope Events produces concerts and live experiences inside HMG already.2 The instinct with a partner like that is to hand them work. That is not the proposal. Operational responsibility for Rise Cayman sits with us and with our on-island production team, and Hope Events is worth far more to this as a voice in the design than as a vendor on a run sheet.
Event-production review, programming strategy, and an honest read on what will and will not work with a Christian music audience in a destination setting.
Artist and promoter relationships that shorten conversations we would otherwise start cold, alongside the booking work already running through Nashville.
Guest-experience design, ticketing and audience-flow consultation, and sponsor fulfillment thinking from a team that has already learned these lessons the expensive way.
What is confirmed and what is planned
Every number on this page that hasn’t happened yet is labeled. I’d rather you take a conservative view now than find a surprise in a planning meeting next spring.
Sponsoring organizations buy seat blocks and fill them with the people they most want unhurried time with. Nobody buys a ticket at the door for the delegate program, and no program dollars fund anyone’s travel. Sponsors buy the seats and donors cover their own transport.
Which means the room is pre-selected before it ever forms. Broadcast networks, universities, sports ministries, hospitality groups, and the donor families each of them chose to fly down. A meaningful share of your listener and donor base is already sitting in that room under somebody else’s banner.
Grand Cayman runs about three hours nonstop from Atlanta and ninety minutes from Miami, with group air arranged out of the major US gateways. International travel is the first question every board asks, and it deserves a real answer rather than a reassurance.
The founding position
One organization holds the Christian broadcast and media category at Rise. We’re holding it open for Hope while this conversation runs.
Founding partner position across Christian radio, streaming, and media, held for HMG and closed to competitors for the life of the agreement.
A dedicated allocation your team distributes across brands, listeners, donors, and staff however you decide, well ahead of general release.
Whichever lanes you choose run as Hope Media Group experiences, designed with your people and credited to your brands, with your hosts in the room.
Rooms and gatherings reserved for your listeners, donors, and artists, set apart from the main gathering, with the guest list entirely yours.
Name and marks carried through the gathering, the site, the delegate materials, and the broadcast and content package.
Your hosts and your discipleship leadership in front of the full room rather than tucked into a side session.
Capture access, distribution windows, and library ownership negotiated up front with artists and production partners, written into the agreement rather than assumed.
Right of first refusal on the same category for the following gathering, so a year of built content doesn’t transfer to a competitor.
A partner with real money in the property carries it into their own calendar and defends it internally when the budget conversation comes around. A partner who got in free tends to discover a conflict in April.
Two components. A founding partner rights fee that holds the category and locks the position. A seat block deposit that reserves your allocation before anything opens more broadly.
Both are structured so value flows back to Hope as credit against future participation rather than as a discount today. We’ll walk the specifics on a call with your finance team in the room if that’s easier. Nothing on this page is the number, and that’s deliberate.
What we’re asking beyond the agreement
Path forward
Spring programming and donor calendars get built in the fall. If Hope is going to put listeners, hosts, and production crew on an island in May 2027, that decision has to land while your 2027 planning is still open, which puts the real deadline in the back half of this year.
Hope Media Group has spent four decades earning the right to invite these people somewhere. This is the invitation worth spending it on, and the category is open until it isn’t.
